Happy Halloween from Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs

Michelle thought it would be wonderful to be Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs for Halloween this year. We all agreed that it would be a fabulous idea. With that in mind Michelle went to work to create this amazing costume set. She spent a couple of weeks sewing all of these costumes. But even with all of her amazing talent we are grateful to Grandma Petersen and Aunt Kaylynn for stepping in to help get everything put together. We are obviously enamored to have Snow White it our home!

These costumes have turn out so well that our boys have not wanted to take them off, ever since they first tried them on. If we don't make them remove the costumes they would play in them all day long! The one thing going for us is that we wanted to keep the costumes nice for Halloween, so the boys were willing to comply with our requests.

Most people, when they go out on Halloween love to knock on a door and say "trick or treat". We thought it would be great to do something a little different this year. As we went around the neighborhood and as we knocked on the doors we would sing, "Hi ho, hi ho, it's trick or treating we go..." It was absolutely phenomenal to see the reactions that we got from the people at the doors and other trick or treaters out in the neighborhood. At the different doors most people would be so surprised with this unique approach and fine band of dwarfs that we often receive extra candy (and occasionally the "special candy" not given to the average trick or treater). It was certainly a memorable experience for us.

Let's face it, this is a fine bunch of dwarfs. Who wouldn't be excited to see this group on your doorstep for Halloween? We tried to get around to see all of our friends but there just wasn't enough time in the day. As it was, we didn't actually get home until after 10:00 pm! Our boys did pretty good, mostly powered by Halloween candy. And we all were excited to finally be home to go to bed.

Halloween has been a great experience this year. We've been to several different holiday functions, ward parties and trick or treating. Michelle has been the star of our show. All of the little princesses who have seen her have been star struck (maybe we take our show on the road to Disneyland?). There were a few who wanted to have their picture with Snow White! It has been one of our best Halloweens ever.

Thank you Michelle for all of your effort and hard work to make our Halloween a success. Here are individual shots of this amazing cast...
